Tucked into the Lockyer Valley, Spicers Hidden Vale is a masterclass in understated luxury — heritage stone cottages, log fires, and views that roll out across working farmland. I spent time capturing the property's slower rhythms: breakfast in bed with the morning light coming through, the stillness of the surrounding paddocks, the play of light through century-old timber. It's the kind of place that photographs itself, but I loved finding the small, still moments in between.

I returned to Spicers Hidden Vale to photograph the Accessible Luxury Cabin, a space where comfort and ease sit quietly together, and to see the new breakfast menu come to the table. Between the two, I went looking again for the details that make this place what it is: morning light on old timber, the unhurried pace of the valley, and the small touches that only reveal themselves when you stay a little longer.
